Refund andcancellation policy.

How subscription renewals, cancellations, duplicate-charge reviews, and refund decisions work for Mockingbird AI.

1. Digital subscription service

Mockingbird AI is a digital subscription service. Customers receive access to online AI tools, workspaces, credits, generation features, exports, and related digital services based on the plan selected at checkout.

2. Customer responsibility

Customers are responsible for selecting their subscription plan, reviewing checkout and billing details, monitoring active subscriptions, and cancelling any unwanted subscription before the next renewal date.

3. Separate subscriptions

Each subscription created by a customer is treated as a separate subscription. If a customer creates more than one subscription, each subscription may be billed separately unless cancelled before renewal.

4. Duplicate charge definition

A charge is only considered a duplicate if the same subscription, invoice, or checkout transaction was accidentally charged more than once due to a verified system or payment processing error.

A charge is not considered a duplicate where it relates to a separate subscription created by the customer, a second active subscription, a renewal of an active subscription, or a subscription that was not cancelled before renewal.

5. Non-refundable payments

Subscription payments for digital services are generally non-refundable once account access, service usage, generation usage, exports, or credits have been provided. Cancellation does not automatically refund previous payments.

6. Refund exceptions

Refunds may be considered where there is clear evidence of a verified billing error, duplicate processing error, system issue, or payment processing issue caused by Mockingbird AI or its payment processor. Refund eligibility is reviewed case by case and is not guaranteed.

7. Cancellation

Customers may cancel their subscription at any time to stop future renewals. Cancellation generally allows access to continue until the end of the paid billing period unless the plan, account status, or applicable law requires otherwise.

8. Billing review process

Where a customer raises a billing concern, Mockingbird AI may review subscription records, payment history, Stripe billing records, invoices, checkout sessions, account credits, service usage, generation history, cancellation history, account status, and support communication before making a decision.

9. Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact support@mockingbirdai.app so we can review the issue. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute does not automatically mean a charge was unauthorized, duplicate, or refundable. We may provide relevant subscription, billing, usage, and cancellation records to the payment processor when responding to disputes.

10. Contact

Billing and cancellation questions can be sent to support@mockingbirdai.app. Please include the account email, invoice or receipt details, and a clear explanation of the issue so we can review it efficiently.
